A workshop for cultural and creative industries was held in Podgorica

Within the project ” Development of Cross-Border Cooperation Network of Creative Industries CREATIVE@CBC”, ADP – Zid organized a workshop with representatives of cultural and creative industries in Podgorica, on March 12 th , 2021. The workshop was held at the CUE Podgorica Hotel (Center Ville Hotel and Experience), with a limited number of participants and compliance with all recommended epidemiological measures.

The organization of the interactive workshop was designed as one of the key steps in the process of analysis of the cultural and creative industries of Podgorica, which were the subject of research in the past period. The exceptional potential for growth, development and employment in this sector has been recognized, and it is considered that the mentioned analysis will greatly help define the next project
activities and policies to support the creative industry in the coming period, both locally and cross-border.

The workshop was divided into two parts. During the first part, the results of the study “Analysis of cultural and creative industries of Podgorica” ​​were presented and validated, within which the analysis of economic performance of cultural and creative industries of the city was performed. The second part of the workshop was dedicated to the preparation of a SWOT analysis of cultural and creative industries in Podgorica, using the method of brainstorming and open discussions of participants.

Along with the analysis of cultural and creative industries in Podgorica, within the project “CREATIVE @ CBC”, analyzes of cultural and creative industries were conducted in the cross-border area, ie in the partner cities, Sisak and Prijedor. Upon completion of this activity, the project is planned to provide all interested creatives with training in the field of design, multimedia, digital marketing, as well as training in the field of gaming in all partner cities.
